about
I had a dream last night in which Will Smith sang me this song (or something like it). I do perscribe to, in an admittedly toungue-in-cheek way, Terry Pratchets idea of the Inspiration Particle. An entity which buzzes around the universe and collides with peoples heads giving them inspiration, but sometimes gets lost and gives somebody (in this case me) someone elses inspiration. I've turned the song an imaginary Will Smith sang to me into something more befitting of a Plepson. What remains is a days worth of remembering bits from my dream, making up the rest and putting this all together. As ever, it's free to download.
lyrics
It's unexpected
just come along and wrecked it
can't get a hold of your life
living in denial
been here for a while
and now you're twisting the knife
Can't see when the sun comes up, try as you might baby
each day blurring into one, the eternal grind
feels wrong cause it's been too long but the end is in sight
its just a matter of time
oh brother, yore gonna be free
The world goes on without ya
enemies grab power
every day the news is the same
Heart starts beating faster
memories slip past ya
like tears in rain
